THE CLUB: The club, originally known as the Manly R.C. Car Club, was formed in 1978 and is now the oldest operating R.C. Club in N.S.W. We originally raced open circuit cars (that is, road racing Models) at Nolans Park, Manly. With the advent of Off-road buggies, approaches were made to find a suitable area to construct our off-road circuit. The club is very family orientated, and race meetings are held in a picnic-like atmosphere. Young and new drivers are offered plenty of assistance from the Club’s top drivers. Races are held for different classes of Off-road vehicles, from the Novice racer to the experienced 2 or 4 wheel drive racers. We also cater for Nitro vehicles, which are proving to be very popular. All vehicles raced are 10th scale or smaller. New drivers are especially welcome, and members are free to use the track at any time for private practice.
